NYC AND BEYOND, MANAGER:

Seeking an organized, friendly, well-spoken individual to manage our NYC and Beyond events catering to studio owners, schools and universities all over the world. We are looking for someone with a great deal of organizational background and work experience with a strong knowledge of the dance studio culture.

Responsibilities will include:   

Coordinating and scheduling master classes, intensives and NYC and LA customized group trips
Creating and continuing to develop programming
Expanding our faculty base of Industry Professionals
Executing the set up and logistics of all NYC and Beyond events (booking studio space, e-mail confirmations, website description copy, marketing, etc.)
Scheduling and creating marketing material with our in-house design team
Traveling to attend each event
Be the liaison between Stage Door Connections and the faculty 

Requirements:

Must have at least 5-7 years of performing/work experience in the performing arts, management or transitioning out of performing
Corporate experience is a plus
Connections with top industry professionals (Choreographers, Agents, Directors, Casting Directors, etc.) a huge plus
Ability to self-manage

SALES AND MARKETING, MANAGER

Stage Door Connections, a leading seminar, workshop and online performer resource company is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven individual gifted with creativity and fortified with a ''can do'' attitude to lead our sales division and develop strategic partnerships and initiatives within our niche industry.  Primary responsibility is to achieve new account acquisitions as well as growing and maintaining relationships with our existing clients.

We provide the environment to achieve unlimited income based on your own effort and initiative.  You'll be responsible for generating revenue from our core advertising products & services, as well as cultivating custom synergies across multiple organizations and sites in our key markets.  This is an excellent opportunity for a professional seeking to work in a creative and growth-oriented environment under moderate supervision.

This commission based consulting position offers higher commission percentages than the industry average along with potential bonus incentives.  This position is based in New York City. 

Responsibilities 

Prospect and initiates new business sales.
Continue to build and maintain our current data base of clients
Acts as the lead in the processing of new business.  Includes contacting customers to finalize sales/service transactions.
Collaborate an e-blast communication calendar and a direct mailing plan with follow-up contact.
Complete weekly follow-ups with new and existing perspectives, in order to keep retention level high and take advantage of cross-selling opportunities.
Maintain a client renewal schedule
Assume the role of key Finance liaison supporting inquiries regarding ad sales activities
Ensures sales goals are met

Key Skills and Qualifications:
1-3 years online media sales experience and familiarity with social media, online advertising and product licensing
Working knowledge of PowerPoint, InfusionSoft, Excel, CRM Systems & Google Analytics
Ability to effectively manage time, reach decision-makers and quickly determine opportunity potential
Expert multi-tasker
Knowledge of musical theatre and competing products a plus
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to move fast and thrive in a dynamic, quickly-changing environment
Good sense of humor and team player

Minimum commitment required: 24 hours per week.

ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE, INTERNSHIP

Stage Door Connections has an exciting opportunity for an accounting and finance internship.  As a member of the accounting and finance team you will have the opportunity to work on special projects, perform regular weekly and monthly activities, analyze business issues, and recommend solutions.  

Responsibilities may include:

Entering transactions into Quickbooks including revenues and expenses
Monthly reconciliations in Quickbooks
Profitability analysis
Budget to forecast analysis

Required Skill Set:
Strong computer skills, specifically in Excel, or the willingness to learn
Knowledge of financial statements
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
Keen attention to detail

The intern must be willing to commit up to eight hours a week for at least one year.   The intern will work with and receive mentoring from Stage Door Connection’s Accounting and Finance Manager.   This position is a great way to learn a new subset of skills that can act as an “in-between” job while you are auditioning.

Freelance Graphic / Web Designer

About the Job

Stage Door Connections (SDC) is seeking a freelance part-time Graphic or Web Designer to join their creative team.​ S/​he will be responsible for the development and design of web-based graphics such as animated Flash banners, maintenance of SDA/SDC’s corporate website, production of print-on-demand marketing materials, eBlast marketing and fulfilling day-to-day creative services needs.​ S/​he will work directly with the President and CEO and will work closely with members of the Marketing, Sales and Client Services teams.​
 

Responsibilities 

Design and development of web graphics such as banners (animated and static), slideshows and multimedia.​
Fluid knowledge of graphic design principals with regards to layout and typography
Ability to follow a well-established corporate style guide
Operates effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of enhancements and fixes
Responsible for meeting expectations and deliverables on time and in high quality
Effectively develops in a clean, well-structured, easily maintainable format
Utilizes storyboarding and graphic pre-designs where appropriate
Manage additional freelance and contract resources
Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments
Design weekly eBlasts through inception to set up and delivery
Maintain web rotator images on SDA & SDC
Design ad-hoc marketing collatoral for events, advertising campaigns, hand out material, etc
Enhance and improve current designs and page layouts
Assist with design elements of partner companies and websites
Work with design directors and lead designers on new website designs and enhancements

Requirements
Minimum 3 years of web and/​or graphic design experience
Mac/​PC Proficient
Multimedia creation with Flash
Practical experience in development of HTML, JavaScript, CSS
Ability to optimize graphics for efficient load-times
Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite 4 or later, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Understanding of video compression and editing a plus
Strong portfolio showing a balance of design and development
Practical experience working with print and/​or 3rd-party vendors
Excellent problem solving and communications skills
Self-motivated, ability to work independently yet always a team player
Ability to manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Understanding of Windows-based software (MS Office)
A background in the performing arts is a HUGE plus

INTERNSHIP - BUSINESS OPERATIONS:

Seeking positive, energetic, organized people for work study positions to work 10 hours/week. Scheduling is flexible, but we are looking for consistency from week to week.

This is a non-paid position, however, participants can attend our seminars for free and will recieve a Virtually Vocal membership to our online services. Interns learn a great deal about the business and gain insight into the inner workings of a rapidly growing company. They will also have the ability to connect with top industry professionals.
