Jesse Nager and The Broadway Boys, a collection of Broadway's hottest voices who reinvent the Broadway genre by adding pop/funk/gospel to traditional musical theater tunes, will be leading a workshop in creating your own unique audition material. The Broadway Boys are represented in shows such as THE BOOK OF MORMON, SPDIERMAN, WICKED, JERSEY BOYS, MAMMA MIA, MARY POPPINS, and they all got there with their unique voices, authentic audition material, and the ability to sing a song in a way that shows off their individual styles. The Broadway Boys will help you stand out from the masses with your own unique style.

Part 1 - The Individual:
  • Receive a PRIVATE SESSION with Jesse Nager and Broadway Boys Musical Director Justin Paul
  • Bring a few of your favorite audition songs as well as your book to determine most appropriate material to work on
  • Create a great 16 bar audition cut of a song

Part 2: The Group:

  • Work on and perform your customized audition cut and work with Jesse and Justin to uncover new individual style for the piece. Discover a feel and "hook" for your new audition piece
  • Learn from watching others work to understand the process of personalizing music for yourself in the future
** you will receive your custom piece of sheet music, a demo and an accompaniment track for your new rearranged music within a few days of this session **


Part 3: The Group w/ Guest Industry Professional

  • Perform your new, rearranged musical audition cut for the group
  • Receive instant feedback from an industry professional

This workshop is designed to help you catch the eye of casting directors and musical directors by arranging music to best fit your voice. Every student will leave the Vocal Styling's 3 week seminar with a custom-made audition piece with sheet music that is arranged specifically for you.
