"The Dancer's Voice: Pure Vocal Technique” is a 3 week seminar focusing on the fundamentals of building a solid vocal technique.  You will spend these 3 weeks delving into the mechanics of your voice to build a solid vocal foundation and strengthening your audition songs.

Although private vocal sessions are extremely beneficial and important, this class will give you the added benefit of watching others work through their own vocal obstacles and understanding the techniques they are given to improve their voice.  You will gain a better understanding of your vocal technique through group and individual vocal exercises specifically designed for dancers.

This is a great seminar to develop and sustain your vocal technique so you have the confidence to walk into a dance audition knowing when you get asked to sing, you have the technique to back it up.

Please note:  Bring your vocal book and be prepared to sing through at least two 16-bar cuts to work on.

DARIN ADAMS has been a professional singer and voice teacher for over 22 years.  He has a Master’s degree in vocal pedagogy and performance from the Indiana University School of Music and has helped singers ranging from absolute beginners to Broadway leads find their best voice.  Darin currently has students in more than half of the shows running on Broadway, and has been specializing for the past year in “dancers who sing,” placing a number of students in Broadway ensemble tracks.   Darin was recently featured as a vocal instructor on MTV’s “Made.”
