It is important to be as confident in your vocal auditions as you are in your dance auditions. This seminar will let you “practice” your vocal audition and receive feedback from Craig Burns of Telsey + Co.
Your one-on-one, 10 minute session, will begin with a simulated vocal audition for Craig. Immediately following your audition, Craig will give you an honest critique and coach you through moments of your song. You will then have the chance to apply what you’ve learned and re-audition.
At end of the seminar, everyone will take part in a group Q&A session where you will have the opportunity to ask Craig specific questions about yourself and discuss further what he looks for as a Casting Director.
Please bring: two prepared 16 bar audition songs, your audition book, headshot & resume.

CRAIG BURNS is a Casting Director at Telsey + Company in Manhattan. He has been with the office for over 10 years. His Broadway, Off-Broadway, and National Tour casting credits include 9 TO 5, WICKED, LEGALLY BLONDE, THE COLOR PURPLE, HAIRSPRAY, CRY-BABY, JERRY SPRINGER: THE OPERA, GREY GARDENS, TARZAN, SWEENEY TODD, ALL SHOOK UP, DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, TABOO, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, AIDA, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, and Andrew Lippa's THE WILD PARTY. A Long Island native, he attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
