Seeking:Male Ensemble - Asian: Male, 18+, tenors and baritones with excellent dance ability to play barmen, officers of South Vietnamese Army, inhabitants of Saigon, vendors. Not all, but some will need to be excellent acrobats and/or tumblers. Male Ensemble - Western: Male, 18+, tenors and baritones with excellent dance ability to play marines, embassy workers, conference delegates, American tourists in Bangkok. Female Ensemble: Female, 18+, characters are Asian. Strong mezzos and sopranos with excellent dance ability to play prostitutes, bar girls, refugees, Go-Go dancers. Male Ensemble - Asian: Male, 18+, male dancers who sing extremely well. Seeking:ANYTHING GOES 2 AEA contracts available, intended to be cast among the following roles: RENO SWEENEY A charismatic sexy nightclub singer and former evangelist, she is clever, funny, persuasive and extremely confident. Strong singing and dancing required, as well as comedic timing. VOCAL RANGE: Alto/Belt. EVANGELINE HARCOURT 40s-60's - Hope’s overbearing mother who is mainly concerned with money and social status. A funny character woman. Sings with ensemble only. LORD EVELYN OAKLEIGH 30’s – 40’s - Hope’s energetic, quirky, goofy and good-natured aristocratic fiance?. English accent, strong singing and the ability to move well. VOCAL RANGE: High Baritone/Tenor For all the following roles, the theatre intends to cast these as non-AEA. BILLY CROCKER Early Mid 20’s - A young handsome businessman who is in love with Hope, he charismatic and charming. Strong singing and acting required and should be able to dance or move well. VOCAL RANGE: Tenor. ELISHA WHITNEY 50’s – 70’s - A successful Wall Street banker who is nearsighted and thinks he is always right. Ability to move well is a plus. VOCAL RANGE: Baritone CAPTAIN 40’s – 50’s - Captain of the S. S. American. Ability to move well is a plus. VOCAL RANGE: Baritone. HOPE HARCOURT Early 20's - A beautiful young heiress with a strong sense of duty, she is willing to sacrifice love and marry to satisfy her mother’s wishes. Strong singing and acting required, and dancing a plus. VOCAL RANGE: Soprano. ERMA 20's - 30's - A playful, sassy, sexy, and loveable “dame” – a typical 20’s “gun moll” with a ‘Joisey’ accent. Strong singing and dancing. VOCAL RANGE: Mezzo/Belt. PURSER 20s-30’s - Purser of the S. S. American. The younger go-to assistant to the Captain. Ability to move well is a plus. VOCAL RANGE: Baritone. The following role has been CAST: MOONFACE MARTIN Role CAST. 40s-60s - A loveable gangster who is also loyal and willing to go the distance for a friend. Requires strong comic timing, plus the ability to sing and move well. VOCAL RANGE: Baritone. ___________ BAREFOOT IN THE PARK 2 AEA Contracts available intended to be cast among the following roles: Corie’s Mother (Mrs. Banks) Late 40s, early 50s. Tries not to be a bother - but she is. Has recently let herself go a bit. Has a flair for the dramatic, but is lonely underneath it all. Her daughter’s energy often overwhelms her. Victor Velasco Late 50s - early 60s. An eccentric world traveler. Lives above Corie and Paul. Old but full of endless energy. Adventurous and unpredictable. A big personality and mischievous. For all the following roles, the theatre intends to cast these as non-AEA. Corie Female, 20s. Beautiful young bride, full of energy and hope for the future. Free-spirited and decidedly positive. She has a great inner strength and a strong resolve while displaying a good sense of humor and fun. Paul Male, 20s. Attractive and driven young lawyer who behaves as if he’s in his 50’s. Very conservative but there is a fun guy hiding inside. He is eager to please but can become easily overwhelmed. Telephone Man 30’s Charming man with good comic timing. A bit out of shape, perhaps. Delivery Man 50-60. Older man of few words, and a bit frail looking. Has been doing this for a LONG time. Overworked. __________________ ALWAYS... PATSY CLINE All roles have been CAST. Patsy Cline: Role CAST. 30s; Dynamic and passionate actress that can embody Patsy Cline in voice and spirit. Ability is mimic her unique vocal sound is imperative. Louise Segar: Role CAST. 40-50; A Houston housewife who befriends Patsy Cline. Strong storyteller and comedic actress with a big heart. Must be able to 'hold the stage' and comfortable interacting with the audience.
