Seeking:"Neurosis" Frank: male, 29. Frank is a 29-year-old aspiring magician who hasn’t made the leap in life he always dreamed of – from “Frank” to “Incredible Frank.” Whether he knows it or not, he’s looking for a connection in life – whether it be his loving-yet-smothering Jewish parents, his best friend (his own Neurosis), or a new relationship. Neurosis (Cast): Neurosis is Frank’s neurosis, personified. They are best friends. He’s a little more unkempt, cynical, and nervous version of Frank. Frank and Neurosis have a comedy rapport together. Neurosis can be loud and opinionated, but always respectful of his friendship. No matter how it comes out, he’s always looking out for Frank’s best interest.  Abby: female, 30. Abby has achieved much in her professional life but aspires to so much more in her personal life. She’s sweet, but being tossed around by life has given her pause on how to proceed. She’s an outwardly exuberant yet inwardly second-guessing person making strong decisions that are often bad ones. Neurosalina (Cast): Abby’s neurosis, personified. Think of the popular girl in high school that you always hung out with because she was pretty and cool, but you never quite felt accepted by her. Fun, pretty and confident, but there’s an insecurity hiding underneath it all.  Geri: female, 60s. Frank’s Jewish and protective mother. She has put all of her life into her only son and she’s going to do her best to see that he doesn’t go making the wrong choices in his life. Kenny: male, 60s. Frank’s father. He ultimately bends to the whim of Geri, but that doesn’t mean he hides his own blunt opinion. He’s a lawyer, works hard and just wants everyone to “calm the hell down.” He’s disappointed in Frank’s career choice but tries to make the best of it. Samantha: 30s-50s. has a strong sense of command. Frank’s therapist. She’s not a touchy-feely type therapist – she’s confrontational and wants clients to deal with issues, feel their feelings, and make choices to do something with their lives rather than just talk about it. Strong pop/gospel belt. Kurt: male, 30s-early 40s. A narcissistic jerk – manipulative, handsome and buff. He doubles as Amazing Larry, Frank’s boss at Amazing Larry’s Magic Shop and a hokey touring magician. He is narcissistic, lacks empathy, and will walk over anyone to get a step up. One Male Understudy: (late 20s to mid-30s) to cover Frank/Neurosis/Kenny/Kurt, start date TBD One Female Understudy: (late 20s to mid-30s) to cover Abby/Neurosalina/Geri/Samantha, start date TBD ______________ "R.R.R.E.D." Victoria O’Hara (Cast): female, ageless, timeless. Militant founder of the R.R.R.E.D. and uncompromising redhead-ist. Continuously weaponizing every aspect of her physicality, psychology, and sexuality, she is a striking, imposing presence with a thundering voice. Any ethnicity/cultural background.  Gj Crockett (Cast): male, 20s-30s. An officious go-getter with a pencil ever behind his ear, doing The Lord’s Work as Victoria’s assistant, fierce protector, confidant, driver, and cruise director. Ideally, the physical opposite of Victoria, either Kronk to her Izma or tiny King to her Queen of Hearts, but somehow able to shrink behind her, always. Any ethnicity/cultural background.  Stephanie Hicks (Cast): female, 20s-40s. Overeager super fan finally getting her shot on “The Price is Right,” an enthusiastic but under-experienced sex-pot who is consciously working on her “game.” Any ethnicity/cultural background.  Craig: male, 30; a man’s man with rolled-up sleeves and facial hair, or at least the promise he could grow it by tomorrow. He handles R.R.R.E.D.’s e-commerce with aplomb, but gets all awkward and starry-eyed when he sees *that* guy. Any ethnicity/cultural background. One Male Understudy: (20s-30s) to cover GJ/Craig, start date TBD One Female Understudy (20s-30s) to cover Victoria/Stephanie Hicks, Start Date TBD
