Seeking:Mainstage "It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play"  Freddie Filmore: M/40s-50s/any ethnicity: Plays a variety of roles including the radio Announcer and Potter. A polished, self-assured personality who must voice and play a multitude of characters. Jake Laurents (role CAST): M/30s-40s/any ethnicity: Plays the role of George Bailey during the radio broadcast. This role has been cast. Sally Applewhite: F/30s-40s/any ethnicity: Plays the role of Mary Hatch. Wholesome, down to earth, smart, and funny. Lana Sherwood: F/20s/any ethnicity: Precocious, youthful, and sassy. Lana voices and plays a range of characters including Violet, Rose Bailey, and Zuzu. Harry “Jazzbo” Heywood - M/30s-50s/any ethnicity: Will voice and play a range of characters, primarily Clarence the Angel. ___________________ Show TBA Role 1: F/20s-30s/Latina/Hispanic - 29 years old from New Mexico. A PhD student with a deep passion for anthropology, the environment, and gardening. While preparing to give birth to her first child, she is energetic, determined, passionate. Some Spanish required. Role 2: M/20s-30s/Latina/Hispanic - 31 year old lawyer from Chile. He comes from an affluent family, he is smart, ambitious, and driven to move up in the world and at work. Minimal Spanish required. Role 3 (Cast): F/50s-70s - An assertive, affluent, socially-savvy engineer. This role has been cast. Role 4 (Cast): M/60s-70s - A retiree who gets worked up easily, but he finds calm in his garden which he is deeply passionate about. This role has been cast. ______________________ "The Lady Demands Satisfaction"  Trothe Pepperston: F/any ethnicity: 18+ Actor to play A fifteen year old heiress who suddenly discovers she must learn to fence or risk losing her fortune. Lovesick, ambitious, and extremely naive. Duchess Theodosia Pepperston: F/40s-50s/any ethnicity: The finest swordswoman in the land. Theodosia is proud, fierce, and extremely intimidating. Must be skilled in fencing. Penelope: F/30s-40s/any ethnicity: A crafty servant who cares greatly for Trothe, but is motivated to help outwit those who would seek to take her inheritance away in part because it would benefit her. Tilly: F/20s-30s/any ethnicity: A servant who aids Penelope in her schemes to help Trothe. A skilled swordswoman, Tilly dresses in disguise as a great Prussian swordsmaster to aid in the plot to help Trothe keep her inheritance. Luitger (Eleanore): F/30s-40s/any ethnicity: A Prussian swordsmaster, the epitome of a noble - grandiose and arrogant. She passes as a man throughout most of the play and speaks only in German. Lord Abernathy: M/50s+/any ethnicity: A well-meaning, hapless gentlemen who was the closest friend to Trothe’s late father. Osric: M/20s/any ethnicity: A poet who appears to be naive and innocent and is chasing after Trothe’s affections. Trothe is positively in love with the person she believes Osiric is, but he uses it as a front to hide his darker motives. _________________ "The Lion in Winter"  Henry Plantagenet (Cast): M/50, the King of England whose aim is to ensure his kingdom remains unified after he dies. Henry is more spontaneous and emotional than his wife, whom he has kept imprisoned for many years. This role has been cast. Eleanor of Aquitaine: F/50s-60s/any ethnicity, a schemer and a manipulator, Eleanor is always calculating her strategy. She holds great authority, has a strong presence, and is more than capable of holding her own in a male-dominated world. This role has been cast. John: M/20s/any ethnicity, the youngest son of Henry and Eleanor and certainly the weakest. Though favored by Henry, John usually acts out of fear and is generally sulky and sullen. Geoffrey: M/20s/any ethnicity, one of Henry and Eleanor’s sons, Geoffrey is often thought of as the brains of the family. He is charming and attractive but cold and calculating. Geoffrey longs greatly for the love of his parents. Richard the Lionheart: M/20s-30s/any ethnicity, the eldest son and a war hero. Richard is impressive, striking, and temperamental. Seemingly the strongest both in stature and in constitution. Alais Capet: F/20s/any ethnicity, Mistress of the King. Alais is underestimated because of her seeming innocence, but the guise hides her intellect and ruthlessness. Philip Capet: M/20s/any ethnicity, the young King of France who is not at first as skilled in political manipulation as Henry. However, he is incredibly observant and keen to learn. _____________________ "The Niceties"  Janine Bosko: F/50s-60s/white, a history professor in her early 60s. She is seasoned, professional, and sharply intelligent. She believes herself to be progressive, but her world views and patience are put to the test by Zoe. Zoe Reed: F/20s/Black, a 20-year-old college student preparing to graduate. Zoe is willful, intelligent, and hungry to make a difference in the world. Unwilling to compromise, Zoe holds her own against authority and believes strongly in the righteousness of her actions. _______________________ Additionally, Gulfshore Playhouse Education is looking to cast the following. The following show is intended to be cast Equity: "Shipwrecked"  Gulfshore Playhouse and The Naples Philharmonic Limited Run Education project performed at Artis Naples Based on Shakespeare’s The Tempest Prospero/ Stephano: Male or Female; Prospero: a powerful wizard, father/ mother of Miranda, Duke of Milan before being overthrown.Stephano: a drunken sailor. Earthy, clumsy. Ariel/ Miranda/ Antonio – Female; Ariel: servant of Prospero. Ethereal, mischievous. Miranda: teenage daughter of Prospero. Innocent, fiery. Antonio: brother of Prospero who overthrew him and had him sent to the island. He plots to overtake Alonso. Caliban/ Alonso – Male; Caliban: resentful half-human, half-monster servant of Prospero. Alonso: King of Naples, father of Ferdinand. Helped overthrow Prospero. Elderly, heartbroken. Ferdinand/ Sebastian – Male; Ferdinand: son of Alonso. Romantic, humorous. Sebastian: brother of Alonso, king of Naples. Antonio’s sidekick. The following show is intended to be cast Non-Equity "In Flight: The Story Of Sabine Van Dam" Gulfshore Playhouse and The Holocaust Museum Education Tour 2019-2020 Season Sabine: Female Assertive, curious, brave. Plays herself from 4-9 years old and as an adult. Steps in and out of the action. Should be able to sing. Hadassah: Female Sabine’s older sister. Serious, quiet, old for her age. From 9-13 years old. Rosa/ Orphanage Attendant: Female. Rosa: Sabine and Hadassah’s mother. Solid, pragmatic. Orphanage Attendant: Harried but kind. Naychem/ John/ Soldier/ Uncle – Male. Naychem: Jovial, impassioned, determined to keep laughter in the family. John: A Nazi collaborator. Soldier: Violent but perhaps appalled at his task. Uncle: Shy, hesitant, kind.

Seeking:Christing Daae: 20s: beautiful young singer. Soprano voice that combines elements of classical and pop singing. Sings G below middle C to high E. The Phantom: 30s – 40s: high baritone or tenor (with a strong low range) with a contemporary sound. Able to sustain high G# with ease in full voice and high C# in falsetto. Looking for a truly dynamic actor with excellent acting and singing ability. Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny: 20s – 30s: dashing, handsome young aristocratic man who falls in love with Christine. Contemporary high baritone/tenor (2 octave range from A flat to A flat). Monsieurs Firmin (the hard money man – Baritone with high E/F) & Andre (charming with artistic temperament – Baritone: high G with ease): 30s – 50ish; the managers of the Paris Opera House. Trying to be elegant, they are slightly befuddled and bumbling. Need good instincts for stylish comedy. Carlotta Giudicelli: 30s – 40s; the prima donna of The Paris Opera. A diva in every sense of the word. Coloratura soprano, to high E. Requires opera training. Madame Giry: Late 30s – early 50s; the Opera’s ballet mistress. An ominous, stern, forbidding figure. Mezzo soprano to high B flat with no discernible break between head and chest Meg Giry: Late teens to early 20s; A young, petite ballet dancer with a strong mezzo soprano to G. Needs strong classical dance technique and excellent pointe work Ubaldo Piangi: 30s – 50s; the opera’s leading tenor, Italian operatic tenor, companion to Carlotta. Sings to high C. Requires opera training. Buquet: MIDDLE aged to elderly “character man”. The head flyman of the Opera Populaire. Bass baritone but required to sing to E.  Women should be sopranos (lyric or coloratura), mezzo sopranos, or contraltos, with strong legit musical theatre or opera voices; a range of character players. Men should be strong legit musical theatre or opera tenors, baritones, or basses. Two of the basses in the chorus must sing to low F; a range of character players.

Scout Elf 2 (Supporting): Female, 18-29, a fellow classmate of Scout Elf 1, she is an elf that is excited for her assignment in the human world to a family that owns a Cupcake business. She is positive and upbeat. Strong Singer/Dancer. Must tap dance. Scout Elf 3 (Supporting): Male, 18-29, the Most Valuable Elf (MVE). Finds himself assigned to an adoption center and then a family that loves competition and sports, though he is not familiar with sports himself. He is proud and successful. Strong Singer/Dancer. Must tap dance. Scout Elf 4 (Supporting): Female, 18-29, an elf who finds herself assigned to a family that celebrates both Christmas and Hanukah! She is excited to take on this challenge.
