Applicants who win the position would be required to relocate to the Baltimore/DC metro area upon completion of basic training. The US Army Field Band is located at Ft. Meade, MD.

The Soldiers' Chorus of The US Army Field Band is seeking dynamic pop vocalists who can command the front of the stage as well as contribute to a vocal ensemble. The successful candidates will be invited to a live final-round audition at Ft. Meade MD on September 13 (expenses paid). Applicants are not required to enlist in the Army until after having been offered and accepted a position in September. Full-time employment, including medical/dental benefits and Post 9/11 GI Bill.
Applicants will need to sing two contrasting commercial/pop selections (accompanist provided), an a cappella rendition of the National Anthem in an appropriate key (tenors: Eb is required), and with a quartet. Starting salary of $59-63K annually, plus medical/dental/education benefits. Army rank of Staff Sergeant.
